Josie's classes are a brilliant start to my week. I feel both energised and calm at the end. Josie is an imaginative teacher, varying each session and responsive to her yogis. She is kind and supportive, whilst getting me to push myself to improve. The intimacy of the small group suits me very well.
The Wednesday evening classes are really enjoyable with a wonderful relaxation at the end. They are the perfect compliment to running - working on strength and flexibility as well as breathing. Josie is fantastic at adapting poses to those of us less flexible than others. I always leave the class feeling loads better!
Josie is a lovely and sensitive teacher. She is careful to take into account the needs and vulnerabilities of all within the group, whilst also stretching and challenging all individuals who attend. Classes are fun and Josie creates an atmosphere which fosters learning, awareness and personal development.
Josie runs a beautiful balanced class. I love the gentle beginnings allowing my back to calm and open before working hard and experiencing solid strengthening postures. I love the integrated breathing and meditations and references to chakras. I love the way both my mind and body feel more peaceful walking out than when I walked in. I have been to many yoga classes over the years but this has to be a favourite. Strength, stretch, breath. Just as yoga should be.
We have recently finished our Mother & Baby Yoga classes with Josie, and we loved it. Josie is very welcoming and creates a relaxing and nurturing environment in her home studio. The classes allowed me to stretch, relax and breathe, whilst Olive loved all the singing and bouncing.
I started lessons with Josie after the birth of my third child with a group of other mothers. Josie quickly assessed our strengths and weaknesses and and tailored our class specifically to our needs. She focused on our problem areas and the desire to regain and build upon our core strength. We are now all yoga converts and enjoyed our classes with Josie immensely.
